Baharat (the Arabic word for ‘spices’) is a blend of spices used most commonly in Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine.
This mixture of finely ground spices is most often used to season lamb, fish, chicken, beef, and soups.
However, my favourite Baharat spice blend recipe is Persian Lamb Couscous (I’ll link to it once I’ve posted this recipe)
This recipe should make around 22 tablespoons of Baharat spice mix
