Tomato sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 550g cans Tomatoes (Peeled and chopped)
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 10 leaves Basil (Torn)
  • Salt


Step 1
Put the pan on the heat and pour in the oil

Add the can of tomatoes
Step 3
Add the sugar, garlic, basil and salt

Cook over a medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes stirring occasionally

When the tomatoes are soft, crush them and the garlic with a wooden spoon. For a thicker sauce, you can sieve off some of the sauce beforehand.
