This is a really simple version of a classic peppercorn sauce that is usually served with steak.

Ingredients

  • 227ml Double cream
  • 2 tablespoons Black peppercorns
  • 1.5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brandy

Note

If you love pepper as much as I do, why not try also adding some ground pepper for more flavour?

If you don't have any Worcestershire Sauce handy, you can also use Henderson's Relish

Step 1
Heat the cream over a low heat being careful not to boil it
Step 2
Stir in the peppercorns, Worcestershire Sauce and Brandy
Step 3
Simmer for 5 minutes
