Slice the bread and put the goats cheese slices on top then put in the oven at 210 degrees centigrade for around 10 minutes or until the bread browns and the cheese begins to melt |

When the goat's cheese is nearly ready; in a medium bowl, add the olive oil and vinegar then whisk rapidly with a fork |

Add the salt and pepper and whisk again |

Add the salad and the chopped basil then roll the leaves round to coat them with the vinegarette |

Put the salad on a plate to one side, add the olives and walnuts on top |

Place the warm goat's cheeses on bread next to the salad and give them a light sprinkling of the herbs |
